Millie Tanner is a young lady with a Mission! She’s doing 90 days of blogging to raise awareness about Cycling and Team Duke for Cancer Awareness. See her blog at http://milliegoat.wordpress.com . She’s been Rocking her age group (10-14 years old) at the local and National level races for the last couple of years. She’s so good at climbing hills on her bike, they call her Millie-Goat!
Millie has goals of becoming a National Champion, this year she competed in all three categories of State Championships where she got the Silver Medal for the Road Race and Crit. At Nationals, she also competed in all three categories, and earned a Bronze in the Time Trial. She loves the sport of cycling and would like to see more women and junior women in the sport. Hopefully, she can inspire more juniors to participate in cycling. She dedicated her season to PJ, a boy her age with Cancer, and she is raising awareness through Team Duke for him and for cancer.
